Card Information: Held in: SUNDOME Location: FLORIDA, UNITED STATES on October 2004 at 8:00pm Interview: The three former nWo members unite... Click here to see highlights. Just when it looked like Bret Hart, Randy Savage and Jeff Jarrett had formed an alliance against the nWo, Jarrett shows his true colours. Chris Jericho was able to make the save for Hart and Savage. Tajiri and Rey Mysterio defeated Jamie Noble and Brian Kendrick when Rey Rey pinned B. Kendrick with the West Coast Pop in 0:16:58. Rating: **** 1/4 [Nidia interfered against Tajiri.] Rey Rey gets the win for his team, but there still appears to be no love lost between him and Tajiri, the man who took his cruiserweight title Marty Jannetty pinned X-Pac with the Showstopper in 0:07:45. Rating: **** [Hurricane Helms interfered against X-Pac.] Jannetty got the win over a clearly angry X-Pac. The intereference from the Hurricane was a major contributing factor to the loss, however. Interview: Jericho has a plan... Click here to see highlights. Chris Jericho agrees to team with Bret Hart and Randy Savage at No Mercy, but will go one on one with Hollywood Hogan tonight. Kurt Angle defeated Randy Orton when Randy Orton passed out in the Ankle Lock in 0:14:27. Rating: **** 1/4 Great match between two guys with big futures in this company. Nice to see Angle getting back to winning ways. Goldberg and Scott Steiner battled to a draw in 0:20:00. Rating: *** 3/4 [Stacy Keibler interfered against Goldberg.] A good match, marred in controversy due to poor officiating by Nick Patrick, and the constant interference by Stacy Keibler. If Charles Robinson had been out quicker, there might have been a different result. Interview: The Outsiders' request... Click here to see highlights. Hall and Nash talk about the No Mercy tag match, and offer Triple H a spot in the nWo. The Outsiders and The Million Dollar Team defeated Maven, Spike Dudley, Funaki and Goldust when Hall pinned Spike with the Outsider Edge in 0:22:08. Rating: *** 1/4 The nWo were given a good fight, but ultimately ended up getting the victory. Chris Jericho made Hollywood Hogan submit to the Walls of Jericho in 0:12:50. Rating: ** 1/2 [Brock Lesnar interfered against Chris Jericho.] Click here to see highlights. Hogan may have tapped out, but he got the last laugh, as Brock Lesnar made his return, entering the ring and nailing Jericho with the F5. Afterwards, Hogan and Lesnar spray-painted nWo on the back of Y2J. Card rating: *** 1/2 Match observations: Well, it seemed to be a good night for the nWo. Not only did they recruit Jeff Jarrett, but also they got a returning Brock Lesnar as well. This really helped gloss over the defeats that Hollywood Hogan and X-Pac suffered here tonight, as did the big 8-man tag match win for the Outsiders and the Million Dollar Team. As a result of tonight's actions, it has been made official that No Mercy will see Bret Hart, Randy Savage and Chris Jericho facing off against Hollywood Hogan, Scott Steiner and Brock Lesnar. That should be a rather intriguing contest to say the least. The nWo may get even stronger this Monday night, if Triple H accepts the live invitation that he received from the Outsiders here tonight. Of course, no matter what decision Helmsley makes, he'll have to incur the wrath of either the nWo (if he says no) or Evolution (if he says yes). The Game would be well advised to think long and hard before making his decision. And speaking of this Monday night on Raw, there will be a tag match featuring Jeff Jarrett and X-Pac against The Undertaker and Randy Savage. It should be a rather interesting contest. Next Show: Raw
