Terry Funk tore his left rotator cuff. He will be out for approximately 6 cards. Rating: 3/4* A generally poor match, which ended in a count-out, due to Funk's injury. This could throw some spanners into the works for Summerslam. Triple H pinned The Rock with the Pedigree in 0:08:54. Rating: *** 1/4 [Sylvan Grenier and Rene Dupree interfered against The Rock.] Click here to see highlights. Triple H got the win, with La Resistance jumping Rock after the match. Jeff Jarrett and The Mountie defeated The Undertaker and Shane McMahon when Jarrett pinned Undertaker with the Stroke in 0:17:36. Rating: **** 1/4 Excellent match, which could have gone on longer, had the Taker tagged out to Shane McMahon. As it is, Jeff Jarrett must now be the favourite going into the match at Summerslam. Card rating: *** Match observations: A pretty good card right before Summerslam, although it seems as though the card is not yet complete. There is still one match slot left unfilled, and the scheduled Outsiders vs Hardcore Legends tag match is in need of tweaking, after Terry Funk suffered an injury here tonight, which will keep him out of action for a while. Shane O Mac teased the arrival of a major superstar at Summerslam, who will take on Kane. While it would be wrong to speculate on who that might be, it's fair to say that come Sunday, Kane will have a Bill to pay. And on the subject of Shane O Mac, he and the Undertaker were on the losing end of their tag team match tonight. Both guys had better hope for more luck on Sunday, or else we'll have to deal with The Mountie as Commissioner and Jeff Jarrett as the WWE Champion once again. Expect Rock vs Austin vs Triple H to be an absolute barnstormer this Sunday. Emotions were running high tonight, as Austin returned, and when the bell finally does ring on this historic encounter, every man will be giving it his all to prove who the greatest icon of attitude really is.
