Kurt Angle defeated X-Pac by disqualification in 0:01:21.
Rating: **
[Triple H interfered against Kurt Angle.]
The match proved to be a set-up, as Triple H came down and attacked Angle with
a steel chair. He and Pac double teamed Kurt, until referees came down to
break up the melee.
Jamie Noble pinned Hurricane Helms after a small package in 0:10:16.
Rating: *** 1/2
[Nidia interfered against Hurricane Helms.]
Another disappointing defeat for the Number 1 contender to the Cruiserweight
title. He'll need to summon all his superpowers for the match at Judgment Day.

Ric Flair defeated Shawn Michaels by disqualification in 0:02:15.
Rating: * 1/4
[The Rock interfered against Ric Flair.]
This match could have been so much more, but sadly, The Rock is not as sneaky
as Ric Flair when it comes to interference. Rock and Flair brawled through the
crowd afterwards.
In the ring, Big Show and Ted DiBiase tried to ambush HBK, but luckily Kevin
Nash was on hand to save his partner.
Match with Special Referee Chris Benoit:
Val Venis pinned Rey Mysterio with the Money Shot in 0:11:52.
Rating: *** 1/4
Benoit reluctantly counted the pinfall, before immediately executing the
Crossface on Val Venis. With Mysterio down, there was nothing the IC Champ
could do to get out of the hold.

Great match up, showcasing the talents of all four man. Hogan's win gives him
plenty of extra momentum going into the PPV.
Card rating: ** 1/2
Match observations:
So, Judgment Day is nearly upon us, and the entire card is set. Following the
early actions of tonight, the final spot of the card has been filled by a match
between Kurt Angle and Triple H. Those two should put on a fairly entertaining
contest.
It would have been nice to see Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair get more time in
the ring, but that will have to wait for another time. With the mean streak
shown by the Rock here tonight, it could be that he's put his troubles behind
him, and is ready to take out Flair at the PPV.
Scott Hall has been chosen as the unlucky man to get the first crack at The
Undertaker. The Dead Man Walking will be aching to put this former WWE Champ
out of his misery as soon as possible.
The sleeper hit of the night should be the IC title triple threat match. All
three men involved are great atheletes, and when you put all three in the ring
at once, there's no telling the kind of action we'll see.
Jeff Jarrett may have left Brock Lesnar out cold here tonight, but when a shot
at the title is on the line this Sunday, he may be the one left feeling the
pain of an F-5, much like Chavo Guerrero did tonight.
Then we have the submission match, Bret Hart and Stone Cold one more time. You
could call it Wrestlemania Revenge. I expect we will call it a classic.
And speaking of classics, that hope must be held for Hogan vs Warrior 3. Two
great icons, one great title. Only one man will be left standing. Who will it
be?
