FBI are now set to face the Basham Brothers at Wrestlemania.  Will any face
teams ever challenge for the tag gold?


Val Venis, Sting and Mick Foley defeated X-Pac, Scott Steiner and Kurt Angle
 when Venis made S. Steiner submit to the Venis Lock in 0:22:52.

Big win, further cementing Val's status as Number 1 contender to the IC title.
He will face X-Pac at Wrestlemania.

Kane pinned Ken Shamrock after a triangle choke in 0:07:09.

A poor match, which saw Shamrock once again get himself pinned with a triangle
choke that he applied.


Chris Jericho and Jeff Jarrett defeated Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels when Y2J
 pinned S. Austin after an Asai moonsault in 0:16:47.

Great main event, which saw Jericho pin Austin.  All four men continued to
brawl after the bell.

Match observations: 

An interesting little night of action, if not spectacular.  Ten matches have
now been signed for Wrestlemania, with only two match slots remaining.  Who
will fill those slots?  We may find out on Raw.

Ken Shamrock's frustration seems to be growing.  Much like he did in a recent
IC title match with X-Pac, Shamrock managed to get himself defeated by Kane
by executing a triangle choke and not realising that his own shoulders were
on the mat.  Even Kane himself was surprised by his victory.

Wrestlemania is looking to be a stipulation-fest, with a Death Match, Dumpster
Death Match, I Quit Match and Iron Man Match all signed for the show.  Further
gimmick matches may still be to come.
