Matt Hardy enters himself into the upcoming tag match, and the Cruiserweight
title elimination match at Survivor Series.
Matt Hardy, Shannon Moore and Brian Kendrick defeated
Tajiri, Rey Mysterio and Hurricane Helms when Moore pinned Rey Rey with the
Twisting Moonsault in 0:14:15.
Rating: ****
Another fantastic match-up, with Shannon Moore getting the pin on Rey Mysterio
for his team. These six are set to battle again on Raw, with elimination rules
this time around.
No-Countout-No-DQ-Match:
Funaki pinned Scott Steiner after a small package in 0:10:09.

Funaki got a shock win over nWo member Steiner. After the match, Steiner's

Despite Kane's rage, Jarrett was able to sneak in a, surprisingly, clean win.

The match would have ended quicker, had the referee not been out cold. As it
was, Goldberg earned an easy victory, despite Shane's best efforts.
Card rating: *** 1/2
Match observations:
A rather good night of action, with the nWo ultimately coming out on top once
again, as Goldberg pinned Shane McMahon in the main event. Shane had better
hope that he can put up more of a fight against Hollywood Hogan at Survivor
Series, or else the nWo will be in charge of WWE.
The New Rockers are fast establishing themselves as the greatest WWE Tag Team
Champions of all time. After numerous wins over the nWo, they tonight scored
another big victory against the dream team of Bret Hart and Steve Austin. Can
anybody in the WWE take those tag titles away from a team once ridiculed for
their dorky nature.
At Survivor Series, we know that the New Rockers are teaming with Booker T and
Shawn Michaels to face the nWo, but what we currently don't know is who will
be their fifth tag team partner. However, as Shane McMahon said tonight, we'll
find out who he is on Raw, when the mystery fifth man takes on Scott Hall in
what should be an interesting contest.
Also on Raw, Rey Mysterio, Tajiri and the Hurricane face Shannon Moore, Matt
Hardy and Brian Kendrick in an Elimination Match. After tonight's four star
six man match, the match on Raw should be even better!
Chris Jericho has announced that he'll be giving Funaki a shot at the IC title
on Raw, after the Japanese superstar twice defeated the number 1 contender, Big
Poppa Pump Scott Steiner. Steiner was livid to hear of this news, and vowed
to ensure that Funaki won't leave Raw with the gold, much like Jericho wouldn't
leave Survivor Series with it.
