Card Information: Held in: THOMAS & MACK CENTER Location: NEVADA, UNITED STATES on June 2004 at 8:00pm Tajiri pinned Jerry Lynn after a dropkick to the face in 0:00:39. Rating: * Ridiculously short match, which saw Dean Malenko come to ringside for a closer view. Maybe signing Jerry Lynn was a mistake. Interview: Big Daddy's back... Click here to see highlights. Kevin Nash spells out his intentions, and opinions on the fans. Kevin Nash pinned Brian Kendrick with the Jackknife Power Bomb in 0:00:20. Rating: * Another incredibly short match, which saw Nash defeat Kendrick within a mere matter of seconds. The fans, somewhat surprisingly, still gave Big Daddy Cool a positive response. Shane Douglas pinned The Undertaker with the Pittsburgh Plunge in 0:09:41. Rating: *** 1/4 Shane Douglas becomes the first man to stop the Undertaker's winning streak, busting open the Dead Man and getting the victory. Interview: Words with the Stinger... Click here to see highlights. Sting fires out a message to Scott Steiner. Sting pinned Scott Steiner after a gutwrench suplex in 0:09:45. Rating: *** Good win for Sting, although he had to make a dash out of the ring to avoid being attacked by Steiner, who was goaded on by Stacy Keibler to get Sting. a.P.a. and The Rock defeated Ric Flair, The Big Show and Ted DiBiase when Rock pinned DiBiase after the Rock Bottom in 0:10:10. Rating: *** Rock was overjoyed, not only because he got the victory, but also because it was Ted DiBiase that he pinned. The tag champs had to hold back Ric Flair after the match to stop him from trying to get to Rocky. Interview: The time is 6-1-9... Click here to see highlights. Rey Mysterio showed a distinct lack of focus, concentrating his thoughts on IC Champ Chris Benoit, instead of his opponent Jeff Jarrett. Will this cost him? Rey Mysterio pinned Jeff Jarrett with the West Coast Pop in 0:16:21. Rating: *** 3/4 Click here to see highlights. Jarrett paid for attacking Charles Robinson, as he was unable to get the pin following the Stroke. Mysterio recovered, and was able to get the upset win. Card rating: *** Match observations: So, the challenger for the Intercontinental Title defeats the challenger for the WWE Title. Maybe Jarrett and Rey Rey are going after the wrong belts? In fairness to Jarrett, he should have won the match, but it was his only foolish behaviour towards referee Charles Robinson that cost him. The Undertaker was finally defeated tonight, oddly enough by Shane Douglas, who has not really done much since signing with the company. However, he will now be making his PPV debut at Bad Blood, as he has been signed up for a rematch with the Dead Man. It was originally going to be Taker and Triple H at the Pay Per View, but tonight's result meant a quick re-shuffle to the card, at the expense of the Game. Also at Bad Blood, The Rock and Ric Flair will meet once again, after Rocky re-discovered his winning touch by pinning Ted DiBiase, who had regularly been a thorn in his side. Can Rock finally put down Flair, or will the Nature Boy send the People's Champ back down to the bottom of the morale ladder? Brian Kendrick will hope to last more than 20 seconds against the Hurricane at Bad Blood, despite the fact that was all he could manage against Kevin Nash here tonight. Nash, in the meantime, will probably hope that he can deal with Shawn Michaels in an equally small amount of time at Bad Blood. Bret Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin are both expected to return next week, after taking time off to rest following the Street Fight. Will they cross paths again, or set off on new ones?
