Rating: **** In a shocking finish, Triple H tapped out to the Walls of Jericho. This soon led to Evolution storming the ring again, but they were quickly followed out by Benoit and Terry Funk. Vader and Randy Orton defeated Steve Austin and Sting when Vader pinned Sting with the Vader Bomb in 0:23:45. Rating: *** 1/2 A gruelling bout ended with Vader pinning Sting, just like he did at Backlash. Is such a finish in Stone Cold's future? Card rating: *** 1/2 Match observations: An interesting night of action, as the feuds for Judgment Day begin to hot up. Vader put down Sting yet again here tonight, sending a message to Stone Cold Steve Austin that he was next. Of course, before he gets to Austin, Vader will have to contend with Hollywood Hogan this Thursday Night on Smackdown. Hogan is somewhat low on morale, after defeats at the hands of Kane and Kurt Angle, and will be looking to give himself a boost by beating the number 1 contender. Whether he can do it or not remains to be seen. One thing that we do know about Hogan is that his match at Judgment Day with Ted DiBiase will now have a special guest referee. Shane McMahon will be the man in the stripes for this one, and considering his hatred for both of the participants, this could prove to be very interesting indeed. We also found out tonight that Christopher Daniels will challenge Booker T for the Intercontinental Title at the PPV, after the Fallen Angel won a big 10-man Battle Royal. After a shaky start to his WWE career, things appear to be picking up for Daniels. Based on tonight's elimination match, a triangle elimination match will be held on the next Smackdown, between Paul London, Brian Kendrick and Tajiri. The man who wins that match will challenge Billy Kidman for the Cruiserweight Title at Judgment Day. One other match announced for the next Smackdown is Ric Flair going one on one with Terry Funk. That should be a classic. Next Show: Smackdown
