Rating: *** Click here to see highlights. Good match, as the WWE Champion and his Number 1 contender pick up the win over Haas and Benjamin. Card rating: ** 3/4 Match observations: London, England rocked with WWE action tonight, as a number of interesting developments came to pass regarding Backlash. We know now that Triple H will fight Shane McMahon, with Helmsley getting a title shot if he wins, Thug Life will challenge Shawn Michaels and Cactus Jack for the Tag Team Titles, and Y2J Chris Jericho will attempt to silence the mouth of new arrival, Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels. We also saw a brand new Cruiserweight Champion crowned here tonight, in Billy Kidman, who got the victory over Jeff Hardy. It'll be interesting to see who will be Kidman's first challenger, but if tonight's Cruiserweight tag match is anything to go by, there are a lot of worthy contenders for that gold. Will Bret Hart accept Ted DiBiase's Million Dollar Challenge? The Hitman is scheduled to be at Smackdown this week, so we should get an answer from him then. It's not like Bret's one to back down from a challenge, anyway. William Regal got away with using Brass Knux this week, as he pinned the No. 1 contender to the IC title, Goldust. After the match, Regal went to see Shane McMahon, and as a result has been added to the match at Backlash. It will now be Booker T vs Goldust vs William Regal for the Intercontinental Title. That should be rather good contest, although Booker's chances of retaining have just been severely depleted. Next Show: Smackdown
