Rating: *** (The New Rockers won the WWE Tag Team Championship.) It seems as though Marty Jannetty has chosen to stick with Al Snow, rather than going off with X-Pac. Orton dominated, only to get pinned by Eddie, who was then quickly taken out by V1. Many many say that Hardy stole the victory in this one, but it won't matter, as he gets the title shot anyway. nWo (Hollywood Hogan and Scott Steiner) defeated The Rock and Goldberg when Hollywood pinned Rock with the Big Leg Drop in 0:23:57. Rating: *** 1/2 [Stacy Keibler interfered against Goldberg.] [Stacy Keibler interfered against The Rock.] Click here to see highlights. Stacy Keibler played a decisive role, as the nWo picked up their first major victory, with Hollywood Hogan pinning the WWE Champion for the count of three. Card rating: *** 1/2 Match observations: So, it seems as though the big things that Shane McMahon had to worry about was in fact just one big thing - the nWo. And despite the fact that the Outsiders failed to take the tag titles, and that X-Pac was defeated by the Hurricane, it was the Order who had the last laugh, as Hollywood Hogan teamed with Scott Steiner (wrestling his second match of the night) to defeat WWE Champion, The Rock and his number 1 contender partner, Goldberg. Rock and Goldberg may have won the match on a number of occasions, but the nWo had another ace up their sleeves, which was Stacy Keibler. She was able to distract the referee on numerous occasions, in order to prevent the good guys from getting the three count. Don't be surprised to see her accompanying other nWo members to the ring over the coming weeks. Speaking of other nWo members, Hollywood Hogan issued an invitation to Randy Savage, Bret Hart and Jeff Jarrett, all former nWo members, to rejoin the group. Will they take him up on his offer? We may well find out as early as this Thursday on Smackdown. In a couple of side-notes, the New Rockers put all previous problems aside to become the new tag team champions here tonight. Also, Matt Hardy prevailed in the six pack challenge to earn a shot at the IC title for No Mercy. Next Show: Smackdown
