(The scene cuts to Shane McMahon's office, as Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas
walk in. )

Shane McMahon:
Can I help you gentlemen?

Shelton Benjamin:
Shane, we're here about the Intercontinental Championship.

Shane McMahon:
A fine belt, and one that I'm sure JBL will walk away with come Sunday night at
No Mercy.  Now, what did you want to know with regards to this title?

Charlie Haas:
Well Shane, as you know, Shelton and myself have decided to forego our tag team
in the hope of becoming singles superstars here in WWE.  Therefore, we'd like
to know what we have to do in order to get a place on the IC title ballot at
Taboo Tuesday.

Shane McMahon:
And you guys came to me to ask about that, I like that, it shows initiative.

Shelton Benjamin:
Yeah, well, Terry Funk wasn't in his office when we knocked there.  So, what
do we need to do?

Shane McMahon:
Excuse me?  You went to Terry Funk first?

Charlie Haas:
Yeah, but he wasn't around.  So, do you want us to wrestle qualifying matches,
because we'll fight anyone.

Shane McMahon:
Well you know something, I was going to offer you gentlemen a spot in a 20-man
Battle Royal that will take place this Sunday at No Mercy, where the winner 
gets an automatic place on the Taboo Tuesday IC title battle, but you see, two
things that you said right there have made me change my mind.

The first thing that made me change my mind was you saying that you went to
Terry Funk first, and that really pissed me off, to the point where I wasn't
going to give you guys a chance at all.  But then, Charlie, you happened to 
mention that you would fight anyone, which gave me a great idea.  So, as of 
right now, you guys both have qualifying matches for the IC title ballot at
No Mercy.  Shelton, you'll face a mystery opponent, and Charlie, your opponent
will be...Shelton Benjamin.  Oh wouldn't you know it, I've just spoiled the
surprise for you Shelton.  Good day to you Gentlemen.
