(As Smackdown comes on the air, the music of Triple H hits in the arena, and
The Game makes his way down to ringside alongside with Ric Flair.  As he enters
the ring, he gets a mic and prepares to speak. )

Triple H:
Last Monday night, I did something I hoped I'd never have to do.  I harmed the
integrity of this company.  I cost this company Pay Per View buy rates, and I
did it by doing what I always do, which is be that damn good.  When I put down
Christian last Monday night, I showed the world that he isn't capable of being
a top contender for the WWE title, I showed the world that he isn't fit to be
in the same ring as me, and I showed the world that the only man worthy of
challenging for the title is me.

Now right here tonight, you are going to see Shawn Michaels and Steve Austin,
two other guys that I have beaten in the past, battle it out for the right to
have their asses kicked by Batista at No Mercy, and then, when Batista takes
his place on the Taboo Tuesday poll after No Mercy, it'll only strengthen my
claim to the WWE title.  Evolution will have two of the three spots on the 
poll, and the third spot will be taken by Christian, who I've already beaten,
or Chris Benoit.  And if Chris Benoit is on that poll, then it means that he
couldn't beat Christian, which would make Benoit even less worthy than me of
getting a title shot.

Face facts people, you don't have much choice in the matter.  Either I get my
title shot through you, or I get it myself, but one thing is for certain, no
one will stand in the way of me becoming the WWE Champion.  And it doesn't
matter how many times they try to sta...

(Triple H is interrupted by the music of Christian, who makes his way out onto
the stage. )

Christian:
Excuse me, I hate to interrupt ANOTHER show opening tirade from the king of
upper mid-carders, but I felt the need to give the show the boost that only
comes from the arrival of a main eventer.  And Hunter, that's something that
you really need to remember, as you slog your way through your oh-so-important
Texas Death Match with Terry Funk on Sunday, you need to remember where your
match is, and where my match is.

Yeah, you got lucky on Monday, and you know, if Chris Benoit hadn't stuck his
nose in the match, things might have been a whole lot different.  But if my
sources are correct, Chris Benoit isn't here tonight, so I propose that you
and I settle things right here tonight, and I leave you flat on your back out
cold, just like I did after the match on Monday, how does that sound to you?

Ric Flair:
You can't speak to The Game like that!  This is the future WWE Champion! This
is The Game! This is...

Christian:
Cool it old man, I'm not talking to you.  How about you go soak your teeth in
some alchohol and let the youngsters talk?

Triple H:
That's cute, Christian, real cute.  Let me tell you something, when you get to
be half the champion Ric Flair is, then you can talk to him the way you like.
But that's not gonna happen any time soon.  As far as tonight goes, it seems
that your sources, kinda like you, are full of crap.  Benoit's here tonight, 
and if you would kindly get your ass out of here, maybe I'd be able to address
him like I intend to.

Christian:
Hunter, the only addressing you're going to be doing tonight is on the letter
you send to Stephanie, telling her how Christian kicked your ass.  And while
you're at it, give her my best, like I always do.

Triple H:
You son of a...

(Triple H tries to go after Christian, but Flair holds him back.  As this is
going on, the music of Terry Funk hits, and he makes his way out onto the
ramp. )

Terry Funk:
Hunter, Hunter, Hunter.  I hope you're saving up that short temper of yours,
but I want you to wait until No Mercy to unleash it.  I want to tell the world
that I beat the Game at his best, and at his baddest.  But that's not why I'm
out here.  It seems that the two of you want to fight, and I'm here to tell
you that you can.  But you can do so on my terms.

Hunter, you rightly pointed out that Chris Benoit is here tonight, so I'm going
to give him the chance to get at the both of you as well.  Right here tonight,
we're going to have ourselves a triangle elimination match.  But it's not a
singles match, and there's no titles on the line.  Instead, it's going to be
a tag team elimination match.  Hunter, I'm sure you've got no problems teaming
with your boy Flair up there, and Christian, seeing as Val Venis isn't here
tonight, I'm sure you'd be happy to team up with Edge.  As for Chris Benoit,
his partner is going to be the man that you face at No Mercy, Flair, and that
man is John Cena!

So Gentlemen, with the Pay Per View just a few nights away, I expect you all to
show No Mercy right here tonight, because God knows it won't be welcome come
Sunday.
