(As Raw returns from commerical, Triple H makes his way down to ringside and
grabs a microphone.)

Triple H:
You people can laugh all you want, because I have had the last laugh. Shane
McMahon may have defeated me last night, and I'll deal with him in the future,
but tonight I have something else to worry about, and that is getting a shot
at the WWE Championship.

What's that? What do you mean I can't have a shot? Oh, I think I can, and I
knew that you people would completely miss the point. Let me remind you of
the conversation I had with Shane McMahon in London, just a few weeks ago on
Raw. Shane McMahon told me that if I won at Backlash, I would get an instant
title shot. If I lost, I was no longer allowed to complain about not getting
title shots. At not one point was it ever said that I would be banned from
trying for title shots if I lost, just that I couldn't complain when I didn't
get one. And I'm not out here complaining, I'm out here to take care of a
little bit of business.

You see, tonight, Evolution gets stronger. Tonight, I will enter a four way
match against Chris Benoit, Vader and Bret Hart, with the winner being named
number 1 contender at Judgment Day. And not only will I win that match, but
also tonight, Evolution will win the tag team titles. You see, we have become
stronger, thanks to a face from our past. Right here tonight, you will all
witness the WWE return of Ric Flair! That's right, the Nature Boy is back,
and tonight, he and Batista will finally put Shawn Michaels and Cactus Jack
out of their misery, by taking the tag team titles from them.

And Evolution will continue to get stronger, when I take the World Title from
Stone Cold Steve Austin at Judgment Day. No-one can stop us, and no-one will,
least of all Shane McMahon. Tonight, Evolution passes you all by yet again,
and there's not a damn thing anyone can do about it.
