Chris Benoit, for nearly 5 months you held the Intercontinental Championship
with pride, until you lost the belt just last month to Matt Hardy.  Tonight,
you attempt to go one step further, by taking on nWo member Goldberg for the
WWE Championship.  Knowing that the nWo has the book from tomorrow night on,
how do you feel going into a match, considering that victory will only serve
to make you a marked man?

Chris Benoit:
nWo or no nWo Cole, being the WWE Champion makes you a marked man.  But as you
well know, I thrived on the pressure of being Intercontinental Champion for
nearly five months.  Tonight, I go that one step further by beating Goldberg.
He may have pinned me, but I've made him tap before, and I intend to do it
again here tonight.  Michael Cole, I'm more than confident that I can leave
this building as the WWE champion.  It's up to Goldberg to try and prove me
wrong.  And I don't think that he can.
