(After his victory, Shane McMahon grabs a mic.)

Shane McMahon:
Regal, I don't do this as well as my father, but I'm gonna give it a quick try
anyway, Regal, you'rrrrrrrre firrrrrrrred!!!!

(Regal leaves the ringside area, almost in tears.)

Shane McMahon:
Guys, as far as a new commissioner is concerned, I'll get to that on Monday
night, but there is a little something else I need to talk about.  As you know,
we held a number of contract renegotiations a few days ago, and while a number
of guys did re-sign, it is with great regret that I annouce the names of three
men who have decided to leave this company.

Those men are Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, and Bret Hart.

(The fans boo this announcement.)

Shane McMahon:
I know, I know.  But one thing is for certain, we are not going to let these
guys go without a bang.  So I have set up two amazing main events for right
here tonight.  Ric Flair will be given the opportunity to wrestler any WWE
superstar he wants, and he'll make that decision later on tonight.  And as far
as Bret and Shawn are concerned, I couldn't let those two go without putting
them in the ring one last time, so right here tonight, it will be Bret Hart
versus Shawn Michaels in a 2 out of 3 falls match.

Now I know that these guys are leaving, but I urge you to show them all the
proper respect for the legends that they are.  Fans, cheer your hearts out,
and enjoy these superstars while you can.  Thank you!
