Chris Jericho pinned Chris Benoit after the Lionsault in 0:01:31.
Rating: ** 1/4
A very short match, which saw Chris Jericho defeat Benoit after hitting the
Lionsault twice. It looked as though Jericho and Benoit were ready to go at
it again after the match, but they were interrupted.

Eddie Guerrero challenges William Regal to a Mexican Death Match, which Regal
has no choice but to accept.
Mexican Death No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match:
William Regal made Eddie Guerrero submit to a cobra clutch in 0:18:24.
Rating: *****
An amazing five-star match between these two, Regal's second in less than a
year. Eddie was finally beaten cleanly by Regal, but as he came to, he did
seem to be very disappointed about the result.
The Rock pinned Charlie Haas after a flying cross body press in 0:07:59.
Rating: ** 1/2
A unusual way for the Rock to win it, but a win is a win. After the match,
Triple H ran down to ringside, and he and Rock got into quite a brawl.

Test reveals that it was him who attacked Val Venis. Something that doesn't
please Edge at all.
Edge and Test battled to a double countout in 0:09:58.
Rating: ***
As Edge and Test continued to brawl, Scott Steiner ran down to ringside and
helped Test double-team Edge. Eventually, Val Venis ran down to make the save,
following which he and Edge finally shook hands with one another.

Match observations:
It seems as though Summerslam is going to be quite a night. The main event
will be an elimination chamber match, with Randy Orton having to defend his
WWE title against Triple H, The Rock, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho and Cactus
Jack. If Orton can survive Summerslam and remain the WWE Champion, then his
title reign will have been taken to a whole other level.
We found out earlier tonight that it was Test who attacked Val Venis just a
few weeks ago on Smackdown. With that in mind, and the subsequent brawl that
erupted after Test's match tonight, a tag match has been signed for Smackdown
this week, featuring Test and Scott Steiner against Edge and Val Venis. That
should be a rather good contest.
Rey Mysterio regained the Cruiserweight Title tonight, after being away from
it for around 24 hours. Expect Dean Malenko to remain in the hunt for the gold
though, as he was unlucky to get eliminated from the match tonight. You do
have to wonder where Matt Hardy goes from here now - no title and no tag team
partner leaves him in a bit of a quandry.
Also looking lost is Eddie Guerrero. Since Eddie returned to WWE, he's had
only one win, and a whole load of losses against William Regal. Eddie thought
he could finally get Regal's number tonight in a Mexican Death Match, but was
still defeated, in what was an excellent match. You just have to wonder what
Eddie needs to do to get himself back on track.
