Click here to see highlights. William Regal announces the stipulation for his match with Brock Lesnar at Bad Blood. Kevin Nash pinned Scott Hall with the Jackknife Power Bomb in 0:01:13. Rating: ** [Shawn Michaels interfered against Scott Hall.] Nash got the win, without realising that Michaels had hit Hall with the chair. After seeing this on the replay, he was disappointed with the situation. I-Quit Match: Ric Flair made Kurt Angle submit to the Figure-Four Leglock in 0:22:27. No-Countout-No-DQ-Cage Match: Val Venis defeated Chris Benoit by escaping the cage in 0:15:18. Rating: **** (Val Venis retained the WWE Intercontinental Championship.) [Street Fight]: No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match: Bret Hart pinned Steve Austin after a German suplex in 0:25:43. Rating: **** 1/4 Click here to see highlights. Bret managed to beat Austin at his own game, after an excellent contest. Card rating: *** 1/2 Match observations: If there were two guys capable of beating Val Venis and Chris Benoit out for the match of the night, it had to be Bret Hart and Steve Austin. These two put on another excellent showing, with the Hitman once again emerging as the winner. How will Austin react to this defeat, in what was supposed to be his type of match? Brock Lesnar and William Regal will meet in a Towel Match at Bad Blood. Regal has already announced that, surprisingly, Scott Steiner will be his cornerman for the match. We'll find out on Raw who Lesnar puts his faith in. After being so delighted by his win over Scott Hall, Kevin Nash was a little angry to discover the reasoning behind the quick victory. Shawn Michaels was desperately trying to point out that he had Nash's best interests at heart when he interfered, but Big Daddy Cool didn't seem convinced. The Rock's morale dropped lower than ever when he was defeated by Lance Storm here tonight. Storm may have boosted himself up to IC title contention with that win tonight. Chris Benoit, on the other hand, may be dropping out of that position after his very brief reign as champion. Next Show: Raw
