Goldberg still managed to fight hard, but was unable to overcome Orton in the long run, as the Legend Killer advanced to the tournament final at No Way Out. Card rating: *** 1/2 Match observations: It truly was the nWo's night here tonight, for the first time in a while, as Randy Orton advanced to the finals of the WWE Title Shot Tournament, and the group worked together to help take down Goldberg, Shane McMahon and Chris Benoit. The only question to arise is, what will happen if Orton wins the tournament, and then has to face Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania? We'll find out exactly who Orton will square off against at No Way Out on Monday night, as Shawn Michaels faces Kane in the second semi final match. It should be a fantastic match to watch, as you know Michaels will pull out all the stops to get another chance at Orton, and the opportunity to get to the main event of Wrestlemania. After the actions and events of tonight, we also know that there will be a big tag match on Raw, as Brock Lesnar teams with Hollywood Hogan to take on Shane McMahon and Chris Benoit. This will be a major preview of No Way Out, as the nWo team faces their PPV opponents less than 7 days before the big showdown. Just what does the Undertaker have planned for the Big Show at No Way Out. He has promised to send the 7-foot monster to hell, but will it be a pleasent ride on the way down? Don't count on it! It has also been announced that the new tag team champions, Val Venis and Lance Storm, will defend their titles against William Regal and Steven Richards at No Way Out. We saw one preview of that match tonight, and we'll see another on Monday, as Val Venis faces Richards one on one, on Raw. Next Show: Raw
