Jeff Jarrett challenges Rey Mysterio to a rematch. Rey Mysterio defeated Jeff Jarrett by disqualification in 0:03:06. Rating: ** 3/4 [Chris Benoit interfered against Rey Mysterio.] The match was a set-up. Jarrett and Benoit double-teamed Mysterio, before the Ultimate Warrior eventually ran down to make the save. He then swung his belt around above his head before leaving. La Resistance defeated Kaientai when R. Dupree defeated Michinoku by countout in 0:02:50. Rating: ** With Taka out cold on the outside, La Resistance got the easy count-out win on their re-debut. Interview: HBK speaks on Nash... Click here to see highlights. Shawn Michaels gives his thoughts on fighting his good friend. The Big Show pinned Faarooq with the Showstopper in 0:17:34. Rating: *** 1/4 Despite an amazing effort by Faarooq, he still fell victim to the power of the Big Show. It may take Bradshaw to deal with the big man at Bad Blood. Sting pinned William Regal after hitting him with a foreign object in 0:13:17. Rating: ** 3/4 The baseball bat helped the Stinger to victory over William Regal. Scott Steiner ran down to the ring afterwards, but the presence of the bat made him think twice about getting involved. As Steiner backed up the ramp, Brock Lesnar emerged from backstage and took Big Poppa Pump down with a huge clothesline. Interview: The Dead Man speaks... Click here to see highlights. The Undertaker talks tough about Shane Douglas. The Undertaker and Booker T defeated Shane Douglas and Triple H when Undertaker pinned Douglas with the Last Ride in 0:13:37. Rating: **** Undertaker got a small piece of revenge on Douglas, but can he do it again in a one-on-one contest, where it will really matter? Shawn Michaels and Steve Austin defeated Kevin Nash and Bret Hart when Michaels pinned B. Hart with the Sweet Chin Music in 0:09:34. Rating: **** Click here to see highlights. Michaels got win the over Hart, but following the match, all four superstars continued to brawl through the building. Card rating: *** 1/2 Match observations: A rather good night of action, featuring two four-star tag team contests. As Bad Blood draws ever closer, the feuds are really starting to hot up. Sting continues to make a good impression, with another victory here tonight over William Regal. Can he help Brock Lesnar get a major win over the Commish on Sunday though? Although Rey Mysterio officially beat Jeff Jarrett again tonight, he didn't have much cause to celebrate his victory, as he was beaten senseless by both Jarrett and the Intercontinental Champion, Chris Benoit. All three of those men will be involved in the major Bad Blood preview match on Smackdown, more on that later on. The final two matches for Bad Blood have been announced following tonight. The first match will be one last encounter for Bret Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin, as they square off in Mexican Death Match. That should be an absolute classic match up. The other match signed is a tag team battle royal, with the winners earning a shot at the Tag Team Championship somewhere down the line. Anyway, as mentioned, Smackdown will see a major Bad Blood preview match, which will be a large elimination-style tag match, featuring a number of the super stars involved at Bad Blood. On one side of the ring, there will be the WWE Champion, the Ultimate Warrior, Rey Mysterio, Shawn Michaels, The Rock, Brock Lesnar and Sting, while on the other side will be Jeff Jarrett, Chris Benoit, Kevin Nash, Ric Flair, William Regal and Scott Steiner. To top things off, the match is rumoured to be inside of a steel cage. There will be Bad Blood shed come this Thursday, even prior to the Pay Per View! Next Show: Smackdown
