Hurricane Helms pinned Shannon Moore with the Eye of the Hurricane in 0:10:05. Rating: ** 3/4 (Hurricane Helms won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.) Not as good as their last meeting, but still an acceptable match, with The Hurricane becoming the brand new Cruiserweight Champion. Hulk Hogan pinned Triple H with the Big Leg Drop in 0:01:32. Rating: ** The Hulkster destroyed the Game in almost record time. Although Ric Flair did try to get involved afterwards, Hogan was able to get away. Interview: The Rabid Wolverine... Click here to see highlights. Tough talk from Chris Benoit. AJ Styles pinned William Regal after a backslide in 0:01:10. Rating: * 1/4 Another incredibly short match. Distracted by the appearence of Brock Lesnar at ringside, William Regal was easily pinned by an AJ Styles backslide. After the match, Lesnar came in and hit the F5 on Regal, saying that it wasn't over between the two of them. Rey Mysterio pinned Chris Benoit with the West Coast Pop in 0:15:41. Rating: **** 3/4 [Paul Heyman interfered against Rey Mysterio.] Amazing victory for Rey Mysterio, which left Benoit and Heyman both stunned. Interview: Jarrett is ready for revenge... Click here to see highlights. Jarrett is looking to take out RVD, and work his way towards the Warrior. No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match: Jeff Jarrett pinned Rob Van Dam after an elbowdrop in 0:10:37. Rating: *** Although it'll go down in the book as a win via elbowdrop, what Danny Davis did not see was Jeff Jarrett clocking RVD with the guitar. But hey, it was no DQ anyway! Card rating: *** Match observations: An intriguing night of action, despite a number of premature finishes to some of the matches. In our main event, Jeff Jarrett once again proved that he was fast becoming a worthy challenger to the WWE title, by beating RVD in a rather good match. Match of the night, however, was Rey Mysterio and Chris Benoit, who came very close to putting on a 5-star classic. Based on this, and the result of the match, the originally signed Benoit vs Val Venis match for Judgment Day will now be a triple threat match, with Mysterio involved as well. And speaking of Judgment Day, a tag team title rematch has been booked, with Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash defending against Ted DiBiase and The Big Show. In order to ensure no more double count-outs, and hopefully quick wins though, it has been decided to add a stipulation. On Smackdown, Shawn Michaels will face Ted DiBiase in a two out of three falls match. If Michaels wins, the match at Judgment Day will be a ladder match. If DiBiase wins, it'll be a cage match. A new Cruiserweight Champ was crowned here tonight, as the Hurricane won a much deserved belt, by beating Shannon Moore. Don't expect Moore to just lie down and accept this defeat though! Ric Flair and The Rock look to be on a collision course for Judgment Day. If these two indeed meet, look for it to be a classic meeting between two major legends in the business. Next Show: Smackdown
