Rey Mysterio and Brian Kendrick defeated Ultimo Dragon and Shannon Moore when Rey Rey pinned Moore with the West Coast Pop in 0:09:53. Rating: *** Rey Mysterio manages to pin the Cruiserweight Champion. I-Quit Match: Ted DiBiase made Hurricane Helms submit to an abdominal stretch in 0:18:02. Rating: *** 1/4 In a warm-up match for Wrestlemania, DiBiase makes the Hurricane quit. He then issued a warning to Hulk Hogan that he was next. Interview: Words with Rey Rey, and Jeff Jarrett... Click here to see highlights. Rey Mysterio's interview time was cut short by a vicious chair attack from the Ultimo Dragon. Jeff Jarrett then hi-jacked the interview to talk about Steve Austin being the ref for his match with the Rock tonight, and about how his match with Austin at Wrestlemania would be a Street Fight. Chris Jericho, AJ Styles and Kurt Angle defeated Shawn Michaels, Chris Benoit and Mick Foley when Y2J pinned Michaels after a superplex in 0:15:45. Rating: *** 1/4 Jericho's winning streak continues as he pins Michaels. Y2J was feverishly happy about that. During the break it was announced that the last two matches for Wrestlemania had been set. Based upon what went down on Smackdown, Ken Shamrock will go one on one with Kane, and based upon what happened just a few minutes earlier, Rey Mysterio will face Ultimo Dragon in a 2/3 falls match. Rob Van Dam pinned Triple H with the Five Star Frog Splash in 0:10:40. Rating: *** 1/4 Two superstars who will not be present at Wrestlemania put on a rather good match. Seems as though Triple H can't win these days though. Interview: Words with the Big Show... Click here to see highlights. The Big Show taunts The Rock prior to Wrestlemania. Match with Special Referee Steve Austin: The Rock defeated Jeff Jarrett via pinfall in 0:09:14. Rating: ** 3/4 Click here to see highlights. The Rock got the victory, but was immediately attacked by the Big Show after the bell. Austin attempted to assist Rocky, but found himself on the wrong end of a steel chair shot from Jarrett. After the carnage cleared, Show and Jarrett were left standing tall. William Regal and Matt Hardy defeated Brock Lesnar and The Ultimate Warrior when M. Hardy pinned U. Warrior after a crucifix in 0:23:15. Rating: * 1/2 William Regal's partner turned out to be Matt Hardy. Regal was especially pleased when Hardy was able to get the pin on the Warrior. Card rating: ** 1/2 Match observations: A fairly good night of action. The card for Wrestlemania is now set and a number of the rivalries for the show are really beginning to heat up. Jericho pinning Michaels should give Y2J a few extra bragging rights. However, it's all very well pinning him once. He may have to do that a lot more times during the Iron Man match. A furious brawl erupted following the Rock versus Jarrett matchup here tonight. As a result, a huge tag match has been set up for Smackdown. Just a few days prior to Wrestlemania, it will be Rock, Austin and Hulk Hogan, three icons in the business, against The Big Show, Ted DiBiase and Jeff Jarrett. Expect that bout to be an explosive one. Rey Mysterio and Ultimo Dragon will go one on one at Wrestlemania in a 2/3 falls match. Don't be surprised if that ends up as a five-star classic. Quite a debut for Matt Hardy tonight, pinning the number 1 contender to the title. Can he have the same luck on Smackdown, when he faces the Ultimate Warrior in a one on one match?
