Card rating: *** Match observations: An amazing night of action, with more than just a few surprises in store. It all began with Shane McMahon announcing the Elimination Chamber match for Unforgiven. We already know five participants, but who will be the sixth? Kurt Angle certainly staked a good case for being involved here tonight, as did Kane, with a victory over Rey Mysterio. Speaking of Kane's win, he received a rather unlikely assist from the WWE Crusierweight Champion, Brian Kendrick. What was the reasoning behind the cowardly attack from Kendrick, and is he now in cahoots with Kane? Goldberg made his first appearence on Raw here tonight, and was able to get a pinfall victory over Chris Benoit. He'll be looking to do the same thing at Unforgiven, when he and Benoit square off with the Intercontinental Title on the line. Also on the line at Unforgiven will be the Raw 'talk-show slot'. Roddy Piper's return tonight has led to a match between him and Chris Jericho at Unforgiven. It will be intriguing to see how well Piper can compete when thrown into the ring with the self-professed King of the World. Next Show: Smackdown
