(As Raw comes on the air, Christian makes his way down to ringside, looking
somewhat beaten up, but with a big smile on his face. )

Christian:
Last night, I showed the entire world that I am worthy of being the number 1
guy in this industry, that I am worthy of being WWE Champion.  Chris Benoit,
you may have had your hand raised in victory last night, but you didn't make
me tap out like you said you would.  Your victory, while in the books, was
little more than a cheap win over a man that you cannot beat.  And if these
people know what's good for them, they will vote me into the match at Taboo
Tuesday tomorrow night, so that I can finish what I began, and prove to you
Benoit, to Triple H, and to anyone else who doubts me, that I have what it
takes to be the man.  

And speaking of being the man, did you guys check out what I did to Ric Flair
last night?  Ordinarily, I wouldn't help a jerk like John Cena win a match,
but hey, it meant pissing off Triple H, which is just something I can't resist
doing.  Flair, you're too old for the Intercontinental Championship, you're 
too old for the ring, you're too old for this business.  What I did was give
you a dose of reality, so that you could book yourself a one way ticket to
the retirement home, where you...

(Christian is cut off by the music of Batista, who comes out onto the ramp. )

Batista:
Well, well, well, what do we have here?

Christian:
You've gotta be pretty dumb not to know that you're looking at Captain Charisma
baby!

Batista:
Ha...that's funny.  It's funny you should talk about being dumb, Christian,
because as far as I'm concerned, it strikes me that you're pretty dumb in
overlooking one man, and that's me.

In case you haven't been paying attention lately, there's been a tournament
going on for the third spot on the WWE title ballot for Taboo Tuesday, and the
man who won that tournament, well, it was me.  And to do it, I had to beat the
Big Show, Ken Shamrock, and Stone Cold Steve Austin.  All I've seen do lately
is lose to Triple H, and though you don't seem to want to admit it, lose to
Chris Benoit.

What I'm trying to say, Christian, is that I'm on the biggest role of my entire
career right now, and if you think that you can overlook that, and that these
people will overlook that, well then hey, I really have to question who the
dumb one is.

Christian:
Yeah?  Well why don't you...

Batista:
Hold on, Christian, I'm not done yet.  You see, there's another reason why I'm
really not the dumb one.  It's because, I heard you ragging on Triple H, and I
heard you ragging on Ric Flair, and you know, there's something else I think
you might have missed, a little something called Evolution.  And of course,
I'm in Evolution, Triple H is in Evolution, and Ric Flair is in Evolution, and
you, well you're in the ring, on your own, right now.  So, why not say hi to
Evolution?

(Batista drops the mic, and begins to walk down the ramp, as Ric Flair and
Triple H also emerge from behind the curtain.  The three of them walk down to
the ring, surrounding it, leaving Christian trapped inside.  Flair attempts
to slide in and gets cut off, but as this happens, Batista and Triple H make
it inside, and attack Captain Charisma from behind.  The beatdown continues,
until Shane McMahon emerges on the apron. )

Shane McMahon:
Woh, woh, woh, woh!  Stop this right now!  Triple H, Batista, Flair, take your
hands off him.  Now I appreciate that you want to take Christian out for what
he said, and what he did last night, but I won't have you risking the Pay Per
View on a beat down.

I'm sure you're well aware that my conduct is being observed tonight, with the
same going for Terry Funk.  The board of directors aren't happy with us having
a match again at Taboo Tuesday, and they'll look for any excuse to cancel our
match.  So if you want to fight Christian tonight, fine, but you'll do it on
my terms.  So right here tonight, it'll be Triple H, Ric Flair, and Batista
taking on Christian and, well, I could go the easy route, and team Christian
up with Edge, but let's have a little fun.  Let's make Christian's partner the
man that he faced last night at No Mercy, and the man he wants to face again,
Chris Benoit!  And let's see exactly how well those two co-exist!
