(After Raw returns from commercial, Shawn Michaels makes his way down to the
ring, wearing his newly won Intercontinental Title around his waist.  After
entering the ring, he salutes the fans and grabs a mic. )

Shawn Michaels:
You know, it's been a long time since I last wore this belt, but I gotta tell
ya, it feels just as sweet as it did the last time.  There's a lot of people
in this world that might look at the Intercontinental Championship as a step
back down for HBK, but let's face it, it was this belt that helped skyrocket
my career before, and as far as I'm concerned, it's going to do it again.

But you know, there was one thing last night that was just as sweet for me as
winning this belt was, and that was watching Mick Foley fail to capture the WWE
title in the Elimination Chamber.  Mick, after the way you sold me and the tag
team titles out to get your title shot, failure was the only fitting result for
you.

Now, I just wanna make sure none of you guys get me wrong here.  I've got a 
lot of respect for Mick Foley the competitor, but as far as Mick Foley the 
person is concerned, well I've lost a heck of a lot of respect for him.  Mick,
you and I, we're gonna cross paths in the ring real soon, and as far as I'm
concerned, the sooner the better, because paybacks are a...

(The music of Cactus Jack kicks in, as the Hardcore Legend makes his way down
to the ring and grabs a mic of his own. )

Cactus Jack:
You know, I heard you talking about how you've lost respect for Mick Foley as
a person, and I thought I oughta come out here and respond to that.  The fact
that you've lost respect for Mick Foley makes me feel...well, it doesn't make
me feel anything at all, because I don't give a damn what you think or feel 
about Mick Foley.

What you need to realise, Shawn Michaels, is that Mick Foley is gone.  Mick
Foley, who gave a damn about his friends, who gave a damn about his fans, and
who gave a damn about anything is gone.  What you're looking at right now is
Cactus Jack, and Cactus Jack cares for only two things.  The first of those
things is himself, and the second is hurting people.  

Shawn Michaels, you're right.  Our paths are going to cross, and I too hope 
that it will be sooner, rather than later.  But one thing's for certain, when
our paths do cross, you'll have no option but to...

(Cactus suddenly drops the mic, and executes the Mandible Claw on Michaels.  As
HBK struggles to get out of the hold, he suddenly ends up on the receiving end
of a series of kicks from Christopher Daniels, the man Michaels defeated just
last night at Summerslam.  A 2 on 1 beatdown ensues, until Eddie Guerrero runs
down to make the save.  Guerrero grabs a mic. )

Eddie Guerrero:
Hey...hey homes, why you gotta fight with unfair odds, man?  We've got two on
two here, so why don't we make this a little tag team match, huh?

(Jack and Daniels agree to this challenge, and the match is on. )
