(As Raw comes on the air, Randy Orton makes his way down to the ring and grabs
a microphone.)

Randy Orton:
For nearly four days now, I've had to endure arrogant taunts from people, who
are mocking me because I was pinned by The Rock. They keep telling me that I
am going to lose my WWE Title come Summerslam in the Elimination Chamber. Well
it's reality check time for all those people. Whenever anybody said that I
would lose my belt, it did not happen. I took this gold from Stone Cold Steve
Austin. I defended it successfully against the Big Show and Chris Benoit, even
though the odds were against me. I defeated Sting, when I said I would, and
no-one has even seen Sting since. So one defeat against The Rock, and people
think that my title is in jeopardy? Uh-uh. It's not. And I will prove it to
each and every one of you.

Rocky, I know you're not here tonight, but I do know that you're going to be
on Smackdown this Thursday. So Rocky, I'm challenging you to a one-on-one
match, non-title, obviously. And then we'll see exactly who has the upper hand
going into Summerslam, and the Elimination Cha...

(Orton is cut off by the music of Evolution, as Triple H and Ric Flair make
their way to the ring.)

Triple H:
You know Randy, I hate to say it, but your title is in jeopardy...from me. And
right now, I have every intention of kicking your ass, and taking that gold for
myself at Summerslam. But Randy, you and I, we can cut ourselves quite the
deal.

Look at the numbers in the Elimination Chamber, Orton. There's Rock, Jericho,
Benoit, Cactus Jack. All four of them gunning for you, and then there's me.
5 on 1 doesn't seem too lucky for you now, does it? But of course, if you go
with what I'm laying out for you right now, we could easily make this one 4 on
2. You know exactly what I'm talking about Randy, I'm talking about Evolution.

What I propose Randy, is that we put the past behind us, and you rejoin the
most dominant stable in wrestling history. I know that you said last Thursday
that you couldn't trust me Randy, and quite frankly, I don't trust you, but
with the Elimination Chamber coming up, who can you trust? Cactus Jack? I
doubt it. Chris Benoit or Chris Jericho? Ha, never trust a Canadian. The
Rock? Do you really think that you can trust The Rock? Orton, sometimes it's
better to go with the devil you know, than the devil you don't. All you need
to do is shake my hand, and it's on. So what do you say, Randy?

Ric Flair:
Listen to the man Randy, 'cos he's cuttin' ya a deal!

Randy Orton:
Hunter, I still don't trust you, and I probably never will. But right now, you
have presented me with a damn good option. So as for my answer, you're just
going to have to wait and see. You may think that you're in the driver's seat
Hunter, but this belt right here on my shoulder, it says that you're not even
in the car yet.

Tonight, you face Cactus Jack one-on-one. All you gotta do is impress me, and
I'll give you my answer. But I'm a hard man to impress Hunter, so you are
really going to have to pull out all the stops to convince me. Good luck
Hunter, good luck!

(Orton's music hits, and the Champion leaves. Hunter and Flair watch on with
smirks on their faces.)
