(With Jericho and Benoit still in the ring staring each other out, a very happy
Shane McMahon comes out onto the ramp with a mic.)

Shane McMahon:
Gentlemen, gentlemen, please. There's no need for the two of you to fight
right now. In fact, I recommend that you save your energy, because you're
going to need it for Summerslam.

You know, I am in such a good mood, now that Hollywood Hogan has gone away
forever, that I decided to do something very special tonight. At first, I
was going to announce the main event of Summerslam as Randy Orton against
Triple H for the WWE Championship, but then I decided that's not what the
fans would want to see as their Summerslam main event. And seeing as Hulk
Hogan is probably sat at home watching me and cursing right now, I figured
I ought to show him once again that I do what is best for these people. So
right now, I am officially announcing that the main event of Summerslam will
be an Elimination Chamber match!

Randy Orton will defend the WWE title against Triple H, the number 1 contender,
against the man who lost out on his title shot last night, Chris Benoit, and
against the man who got Benoit disqualified last night, Chris Jericho, and
to make thing even more interesting, the man who Triple H did not pin in the
triple threat match last night, who also happens to be the last winner of an
elimination chamber match, The Rock! So like I said, you two really want to
save your energy for Summerslam, because you're going to need it when you
step into the chamber.

But I'm sure all you people are wondering why I've only mentioned five WWE
superstars to step into the chamber. Well, that's simply because right here
tonight, we are going to determine the sixth man in a 10-man qualification
match. 10 superstars in the ring, the last man left will enter the chamber.
Tonight, in that very ring, it's going to be Stone Cold Steve Austin, Vader,
Masahiro Chono, Brock Lesnar, the Big Show, Ted DiBiase, the Intercontinental
Champion Christopher Daniels, and the tag team champions, Shawn Michaels and
Cactus Jack vying for that one place at Summerslam.

And while we're on the subject of champions, we are going to determine a brand
new Cruiserweight Champion here tonight. You see, just hours after winning
the title from Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy decided that he didn't want to be a
part of this company any more. So the title, as of right now, is vacant. And
tonight, the former champion Rey Mysterio, the number 1 contender Dean Malenko,
and the man who missed out on winning the title last night, Matt Hardy, will
square off to determine the next champion. And Benoit, Jericho, I suggest
that you return to the back, because the Cruiserweight Title match begins right
now!
