Josh Matthews:
Val Venis, this Sunday, you will face Edge, the man who allegedly attacked you
just a week ago on Smackdown.  What insight can you offer into the attack?

Val Venis:
Really not that much Josh.  All I know is that I was attacked from behind in
the locker rooms by a guy with blonde hair.  The only guy that I know of who
potentially had issues with me was Edge, because of our inability to win the
tag team titles together.  You know, I really don't want to believe that it
was Edge, but all the evidence seems to point to him, after all, why would he
leave the building so suddenly, and why hasn't he offered any other potential
culprits?  This Sunday night, I guess I'm going to have to beat a confession
out of him, unless whoever it was has got the guts to come out here and admit
to what they've done, and save me from having to beat up a guy I considered to
be my friend.
