(Backstage, Val Venis is warming up when Edge walks in.)

Edge:
Hey Val, are you psyched up or what?  Here we go man, tag team title shot right
here tonight buddy.

Val Venis:
What are you talking about Edge?

Edge:
You and me Val, going for the gold.

Val Venis:
Edge, did you not understand what went down last Thursday?  You weren't there
for the match, bro.

Edge:
I know, I told you, I missed my flight.  But you won the match for us, and got
the title shot.

Val Venis:
Edge, I won the match yeah, but as far as the record book goes, Rico won the
match as well.  Last Thursday, the title match signed for tonight was for me
and Rico as partners, not me and you.  

Edge:
But Rico was just the substitute, I'm your tag partner Val, not him.

Val Venis:
I realise that Edge, but that's not how it works here, you should know that by
now, you've been here long enough.  Look man, I've gotta go do this, but I
promise you, if this doesn't work out, we'll get another shot for ourselves as
soon as possible.  Provided you don't miss your flight again, okay?

(Venis leaves.)
