(Shane McMahon makes his way down to the ring, and grabs a mic.)

Shane McMahon:
This was an address I was meant to make last Thursday, but was unable to due
to the technical difficulties that affected the show. But what I have to say
is just as relevant tonight as it would have been a few days ago. Hollywood
Hogan, you seemed to imply that I didn't give a damn about any of these people
in the arenas, the fans. Hogan, you couldn't be more wrong.

Hogan, I don't exactly see eye to eye with these people, and I think it's fair
to say that they hate me. Hell, a whole lot of the time, like now when they
show me such little respect, I hate them too. But to suggest that I don't give
a damn about them is just plain wrong. In fact, you might even say that I
care too much about these people. Everything I do, every decision I make with
regards to WWE is in the best interests of the fans. Whether they realise it
or not, whether they appreciate it or not, these people do not know what is
best for them. They do not know what it takes to keep this company running
smoothly 24/7. I do. I know what's best for these people, and I do what's
best for these people.

And right now Hogan, what's best for these people is not having to deal with
your ego running wild all over this company. At Vengeance, I don't just end
this issue between me and you, I end you. There will be no more Hollywood Hulk
Hogan when I get done with you, and I don't care if I have to bury you alive,
set you on fire, make you bleed, climb a ladder and grab your pink slip from
a pole, it does not matter to me. At Vengeance, Hogan, it's over, it is over!

And just so you people know, and so Hogan realises how wrong he was, tonight
I'm giving you want you want. Tonight, the people get their people's champion
back. That's right, tonight, you'll see the return of The Rock! And he will
go one on one with Triple H. And if that's not good enough for you, when we
get to Vengeance, you'll get the match that you've been waiting for over 5
years, Rock versus Triple H versus Austin. I suggest you all think about what
I've done for you, what I will continue to do, and what you could lose if you
continue to put your faith in Hogan.
