(Smackdown kicks off with the familiar sight of Shane McMahon in the ring.)

Shane McMahon:
The Great American Bash is this Sunday night. On Sunday, we're going to see
a number of superstars in action, but tonight, with the exception of just a
few, you're going to see all of those superstars in action tonight.

Tonight, the two biggest piece of crap excuses for human beings, Hollywood Hulk
Hogan and the Big Show will team up to face the two men that will defeat them
on Sunday night, Randy Orton and Kane. Hogan, Show, just because you didn't
bleed last Monday, it doesn't mean that you tonight, but I've instructed your
opponents to do whatever it takes to put you out, even if that means you have
to miss out on the Bash.

Stone Cold Steve Austin and Ted DiBiase will face each other at the Bash, but
tonight, they both have matches of their own. DiBiase will face a very tough
test when he fights Funaki, while Stone Cold will be in action in just a few
moments time against Charlie Haas. And Shelton Benjamin. That's right Austin,
I hope your wounds from Monday have healed, because it's gonna take everything
that you've got and more to beat two guys at once.

As for all the other competitors, tonight there will be an 18-man battle royal
to close the show, with all remaining Great American Bash competitors involved
bar eight. The first six of those guys are the Hardys, the Dudleys, Rhyno and
Spike Dudley. After the match last Monday, the Hardys and the Dudleys deserve
a night off, while Spike and Rhyno will give you all a little preview on the 6
man match on Sunday, when they go one on one.

As for the other two exceptions, well it's hardly surprising that those two are
Masahiro Chono and Brock Lesnar. Those two have both been given the night off
here tonight, simply because I do not wanting them ripping each others throats
out and spoiling a major international match this Sunday. So without any more
ado, why don't we bring Haas and Benjamin out here, so they can commence their
ass-kicking on Stone Cold Steve Austin?

(The WGTT music hits, as Shane takes his leave.)
