(As Raw comes on the air, Shane McMahon is stood in the ring.)

Shane McMahon:
After the most recent edition of Smackdown, I received word from the Undertaker
that he no longer wanted to be a part of this company. After much time and
money was spent hyping his return at the Royal Rumble, after he was given the
very important task of destroying the nWo, Mark Calloway came to me and said
that he was leaving the company, effective immediately. Well Mark Calloway,
I have two words for you, screw you. After all that I did, and all my father
did to make you a star, you come back and spit in our faces. As far as I'm
concerned, you're not welcome in this company any more, and it'll be a cold
day in hell before any of you people see the Undertaker again.

Now, of course, with no more Undertaker, it seems as though Ted DiBiase has no
opponent for Wrestlemania. Well, all that changes right now. The nWo is still
going to die at Wrestlemania, and seeing as Ted DiBiase is one of the greatest
wrestlers of all time, I figured I ought to send a better wrestler out there to
defeat him, and let's face it, The Undertaker is not a good wrestler. So, at
Wrestlemania in less than 7 days time, the fate of the WWE and the nWo will
rest in the hands of Ted DiBiase, and Bret "Hitman" Hart. Bret Hart will be
the man to finally destroy the evil of the nWo, and Bret Hart will be the one
and only saviour of this company. Right here tonight, Bret will face Marty
Jannetty in a one-on-one contest, and he will send a message to Ted DiBiase
with this match, that being that the nWo is not long for this world.

Now, this Undertaker incident has led me to take a long look at the WWE roster,
and there were three names on there which troubled me. Those names were Rowdy
Roddy Piper, The Mountie, and The Macho Man Randy Savage. While not taking
anything away from the achievements these guys have made in their career, all
three of them were drawing huge salaries, despite the fact that not one of them
has wrestled a match in at least four months. So I have made the decision to
release all three of them from their contracts, and maybe next time they'll
put a little effort into earning their money.

Before I leave you tonight, I have some more important announcements in regards
to Wrestlemania. First of all, just like last year, there will be a 20-man
battle royal at the show, which will showcase a number of superstars who have
yet to be signed in matches, including Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kane, Rob Van
Dam and Kurt Angle. Heck, you'll probably even see some nWo guys in there as
well. But one nWo member who won't be in the battle royal is Brock Lesnar.

Just prior to No Way Out last month, I defeated Brock Lesnar in a tag team
match. A few days after that, Lesnar defeated me in a singles contest. Well
Brock, the time has come for the decider. At Wrestlemania, it'll be you and
me, one-on-one, in a falls count anywhere match. I'll bleed, I'll hurt, and
I'll suffer, but I'll fight you Brock, and by god I'll win. Wrestlemania is
going to be your last stand. Wrestlemania is going to be the end of an era,
and the beginning of a brand new one for this glorious company. I thank you
all.
