(As Smackdown comes on the air, the nWo music hits, as Randy Orton and the WWE
Champion Goldberg make their way down to the ring.)

Randy Orton:
Despite what you might be thinking, there was no one more shocked than me after
the events that transpired last Monday night.  Of course, my shock didn't come
from the result of the Goldberg/RVD match, it came from the fact that all you
people were too stupid to realise that you were being had.  Just like RVD, you
idiots all fell for the nWo's plan, and we made you all look like chumps.  And
tonight, we get to make RVD look like a chump yet again, not only that, but we
get to do the same to Chris Benoit too.

Goldberg:
Benoit.  You and me, we're one fall apiece in Pay Per View title matches, and
at Armageddon we have the decider.  But as you well know, anyone can catch a 
fall at any time in this business, so how about we make absolutely sure that 
the man who wins it at Armageddon is the better man?  What I propose is a 2
out 3 falls match, so that we know for sure that I am the best. 

Randy Orton:
You know Bill, you don't need a 2 out of 3 falls match to know that, but I
guess that's your decision.  One thing's for certain, tonight's match is not
2 out of 3 falls, and neither will be another match of mine, at Armageddon
against Rob Van Dam.  Rob, you wanted me at the Pay Per View, and that is
exactly what you've got.  But let me tell you this now, I am the man who has
put down legends in the past, hell, I am the Legend Killer, but you my friend,
are not even close to being a legend, so put aside any thoughts that you have
of beating me, and get ready to have your fire put out, because at Armageddon,
RVD 4:20 is gonna get busted, courtesy of the RKO.

(Chris Benoit's music hits in the arena, and the number 1 contender walks out
onto the apron along with his partner for tonight, RVD.)

Chris Benoit:
You know Orton, you talk way too much, and don't fight enough.  Believe me, I
wasn't fooled one bit by your crap on Monday, and tonight, me and RVD are gonna
make you pay in pain.  As far as you're concerned Goldberg, 2 out of 3 falls
is fine by me, but if I get my way, we're not gonna need that third fall.  So
I hope you're prepared to be embarrased at Armageddon, because I'm more than
ready to make a fool out of you, like you and Orton tried to do the people on
Monday night.

Rob Van Dam:
Hey Orton, you say that RVD is gonna get busted at Armageddon?  Dude, guys have
been saying that for years, and yet I'm still smokin' today.  And when it comes
time for Armageddon, I'm gonna blaze past you, and show you why there's no
greater legend than Rob...Van...Dam!
