(As Raw comes on the air, Paul Heyman is stood in the middle of the ring with
a microphone.)

Paul Heyman:
Ladies and Gentlemen, it gives me great pleasure to welcome back to WWE, my
client, Bret 'Hitman' Hart!

(Bret's music hits, and he makes his way down to the ring.)

Paul Heyman:
Bret, welcome back. I'm glad to see that you returned to your senses, and have
once again stepped inside a WWE ring. And from this day forth Bret, you and I,
we have one goal, and that is the WWE Championship. You and I can...

Bret Hart:
Hold on one second there Paul. It's great that you've got this whole you and
I mentality, but er...the fact of the matter is Paul, there is no you and I any
more!

(The crowd pops for this announcement.)

Bret Hart:
The reason that I left WWE was to get as far away from you as I possible could.
It was only down to a whole lot of persuasion from Shane McMahon that I chose
to come back. Yeah, I'm here to win the WWE Championship back eventually, but
my first order of the day is to fire your ass. I don't need you to fight my
battles for me, and I'd wager a fare amount that Chris Benoit doesn't need to
either.

Without you Heyman, he beat Goldberg in just over a minute. If you'd been
there, he probably would have lost by disqualification.

Paul Heyman:
You hold one second there, the reason Benoit has that title is because of me.
The reason that he keeps that belt is because of me. If you want to fire me,
then that's fine, but don't you go putting ideas in the heads of my other
clients, because I'll sue yo...

(Chris Benoit's music hits, and he makes his way down to ringside.)

Chris Benoit:
You know something Paul, Bret is right, I really don't need you. I used you
to get the Intercontinental Championship, and last night I proved that I have
no more need for you. So I suggest you take a hike Paul, because for the
second time tonight, you're fired.

(The crowd pops again, as Heyman walks off, clearly angry.)

Chris Benoit:
Now, Bret Hart. The Hitman. You're back in the WWE. Big deal. You know, you
brought up the fact that I beat Goldberg in just one minute last night, and I'm
glad that you did really. Because when I did that, it officially showed that
I had overtaken you as the greatest Canadian wrestler of all time.

Let's face it Bret, your reign as WWE Champion this year was your worst title
reign ever. And all because you couldn't take the pace anymore. On the other
hand, there's me. With the exception of around a week in the early stage, I
have been the WWE Intercontinental Champion for four months, and I will still
be the Intercontinental Champion for months to come.

While your reigns are measured in days and weeks Bret, mine are going to be
measured in months and years. You're nothing more than a washed up has been,
who's not even fit to lace my boots. I made Goldberg tap in 71 seconds. I
could make you tap in about 7.1 seconds.

Bret Hart:
Well, if that's what you really think Benoit, how about I prove you wrong? How
about right here tonight, you and I go one on one in an I Quit match for that
Intercontinental Title of yours. You like to think that you've surpassed me
as a wrestler? Well, then I'd like to see you back your words up with actions.

Chris Benoit:
Hitman, you've got the match. But as far as I'm concerned, you've done nothing
more than sign your own death warrant. After tonight is over, you'll be left
running scared out of the WWE yet again, only this time, you won't come back!
