(As Raw returns from commercial, Chris Jericho makes his way down to the ring
for a very special edition of the Highlight Reel.)

Chris Jericho:
That's right, it's back! The most entertaining interview segment in wrestling
history, Chris Jericho's Highlight Reel is on the air again!

And I am here tonight to talk about under-appreciation of superstars in the
WWE. This is a subject very close to my heart, because Chris Jericho is one
of, if not the most under-appreciated star in the entire company. But my
guest at this time is another man who could possibly lay claim to that title,
so please ladies and gentlemen, give it up for the first man to hold the WWE
title since the company restarted, the Macho Man Randy Savage!

(The Macho Man's music hits, as he makes his way down to the ring.)

Chris Jericho:
Now Randy, first of all I'd like to say what an honour it is to meet you here
tonight, and man do I love your clothes brother. Those are some pretty sharp
threads you have there. But enough of this banter, I want to talk about how
the WWE has screwed your career over the past six-seven months. On the very
first Raw of this year, you won a Battle Royal to become the WWE Champion.

Just a few short days after that victory, you lost the belt to Hulk Hogan, and
then you weren't seen on television again until the Royal Rumble. At the
Rumble you lasted an amazing 46 minutes, but then you weren't seen again until
Wrestlemania, when they put you in another Battle Royal. That night, you were
the runner-up to Big Lazy, Kevin Nash, but nobody important seemed to care.
After one more Battle Royal entry a few weeks after that, you were never used
on television again.

You showed up on time for every show, hoping that you would be booked, but
nothing ever came of it. You are a legend Randy Savage, and yet just Y2J,
you get treated like crap. Why do you allow this to happen?

Randy Savage:
You know Chris Jericho, yeah. I don't really any reason why I allow the WWE
to treat me like a piece of trash. The fact of the matter is, I need to get
a pay cheque in order to keep my home, so I turn up each and every week, hoping
to get a break that never comes.

But you know, I've discovered something Chris, yeah, I've discovered why I have
not been treated the way I should be. It's because these idiot fans have no
respect for me. When I came out to perform, night after night, they booed me
and made the suits of this company believe that I was not worthy of being a
competitor, yeah. But I've realised now, in order to make it back to where I
belong, I'm going to have to make these idiots respect me. I don't care what
they chant or what they say, yeah, because when I get done taking out all of
their little heroes, they'll have no choice but to respect the Macho Man, yeah,
diggit!

Chris Jericho:
Oh yeah, I diggit Macho, a whole heck of a lot. These idiots out here wouldn't
know a great wrestler if one came up and applied move 1004, the arm bar, to
them. I am confident that you can show them all...

(Jericho is cut off by the music of Hulk Hogan.)

Hulk Hogan:
Well you know something Randy Savage brother. Did it ever occur to you that
the reason you get treated like crap is because you treat everybody else that
way? With friends like you Savage, people don't need enemies at all, because
they know you're there to stab them in the back brother.

But you want the chance to prove yourself Savage, that's fine by me. I'll give
you that chance this Thursday night on Smackdown brother. You and me, one on
one. But as for right now, I've got some business with that other crybaby in
the ring with you, so I suggest you get that set cleared out of the way, 'cos
the Hulkster is about to run wild all over you Jericho!
