(After the break, Chris Benoit and Paul Heyman come to the ring, with Benoit
carrying a ladder.)

Paul Heyman:
Val Venis, we're here to appeal to your good nature.  One last rematch Val, for
the Intercontinental Title.  Right here, and right now, in a ladder match.  If
Chris Benoit cannot defeat you here tonight, then he will not challenge you
again, but all you have to do is answer this one last challenge, to prove what
kind of champion you really are.

(Val Venis music hits, and the Champ comes out onto the stage.)

Val Venis:
Paul Heyman, you've got the match, but let me tell you something.  If I win
this, then it's over.  Benoit doesn't get another shot again.  You got that?
Good, then let's get this started.

(Venis runs down to the ring for the match.)
