(Hulk Hogan makes his way down to ringside for an interview with Mean Gene
Okerlund.)

Mean Gene:
Hulk Hogan, after stepping into the fray to replace Bret Hart last Thursday on
Smackdown, you shocked the world by becoming the Number 1 contender to the WWE
championship. Now, you must face the Ultimate Warrior at Judgment Day, a man
you have beaten once, and a man who has beaten you once.

Hulk Hogan:
Well you know somethin' Mean Gene, I'm fully aware of the results between me
and the Warrior dude, but at Judgment Day, it's gonna be the final curtain
brother. When the Warrior and I step into the ring one last time, it's gonna
be all about me kicking his ass and taking back the title that I lost at the
Royal Rumble.

You see Mean Gene, ever since I lost that belt, I lost a whole lot of my edge
dude. But after I beat the Rock a few nights after Wrestlemania, I started to
get that edge back. I remembered what it was that made me a champion, and the
kind of determination needed to stay in that position. Last Monday, I beat the
crap out of Triple H brother, and I loved every short second of it. And then
on Thursday, I took out Jericho, Austin and Jarrett, and I loved that even
more.

I regained that Championship mentality, and that is what's gonna help me make
short work of the Warrior at Judgment Day. And let me tell you something,
Ultimate Warrior, I will do whatever it takes to get back my belt, regardless
of the consequences. I hope you understand that brother, because when I do
take that belt, I'm offering no apologies and excepting no excuses. So what
are you gonna do, Ultimate Warrior, when the Hulkster comes for you. I'll tell
you what - nothing brother!
