(Jeff Jarrett makes his way down to ringside and grabs a mic.)

Jeff Jarrett:
You know what, I came to WWE in order to earn respect.  I don't really give a
damn whether you people cheer me or boo me, just as long as you show me the
respect that I deserve.  The same goes for everybody in that locker room.  You
don't have to be my buddy, or my tag partner, you gotta accept the fact that
I am the single greatest wrestler in this company.

Now some of you may think that's arrogance, but the fact of the matter is, it's
just good old, honest truth.  But you know what, I doubt that's enough for any
of you people out here, so I'm going to prove it to you next week on Raw.  So
what I'm out here for is to issue a challenge to one man, and one man only, and
that man is Stone Cold Steve Austin.

So Austin, prove to me that you've got the guts to take me on, and then I'll
prove to you that I'm the best damn wrestler in this company.
