No-Countout-No-DQ-Cage Match: Ted DiBiase defeated Hollywood Hogan by escaping the cage in 0:15:59. Rating: *** 1/2 Click here to see highlights. Two-out-of-three-Falls Match: Randy Orton beat Steve Austin 2 falls to 0: x Orton beat S. Austin via the RKO in 0:15:25 x Orton beat S. Austin via the RKO in 0:18:39 Rating: *** 1/2 (Randy Orton won the WWE Championship.) Click here to see highlights. Seemingly Austin was severely affected by his matches with Vader and DiBiase, as we now have a new WWE Champion in Randy Orton. But who will step up to be his first challenger? Card rating: *** 1/2 Match observations: A very strange night of action, as Randy Orton became the new WWE Champion by beating Stone Cold with two straight falls, after a pair of RKO's. The fans ended up going home doubly disappointed, as Hollywood Hogan failed to defeat Ted DiBiase in the steel cage match, thus meaning that he won't have a chance to get at Shane McMahon at the Great American Bash. Elsewhere, Triple H crossed one name of his revenge list as he took out Chris Jericho. The next man that he wants to deal with is Terry Funk, although we haven't heard anything yet as to how he plans to do this. We saw a new Cruiserweight Champion tonight, but also a shocking turn from Rey Mysterio. Why did he attempt to help Billy Kidman retain? We may find out tomorrow night. Another title that changed hands was the IC title, which is now around the waist of Christopher Daniels. The only title that was retained tonight was the tag title, which has stayed with Shawn Michaels and Cactus Jack. But will the Dudleys be looking for a rematch in the near future? Another rematch we'll be hoping for is between Ric Flair and Chris Benoit, but hopefully with no count outs. Next Show: Raw
